Disquiet in senate as Saraki gives new date for 'missing budget' distribution

There was grumbling on Wednesday morning when the Senate President Bukola Saraki announced that distribution of the reported missing 2016 budget will commence tomorrow.
Media reports of the missing budget at the national assembly first surfaced on Tuesday.
The senate president on Wednesday morning said the debate on the budget will commence next week.
The Senate had earlier said the consideration would commence yesterday but it was discretely shelved. Majority leader of the senate Ali Ndume had dismissed the reports that the budget was missing.
