Nigerian movie maker and musician, Dr. Ola Balogun, has waded into Davido and his babymama saga.

The veteran film maker, via a letter to the Nation, addressing Davido babymama saga, expressed disappointment and condemned in totality the role played by Ovation magazine boss, Dele Momodu.

He also charged Sophia Momodu to get a job to support her lifestyle and not turn Davido into an Automated Teller Machine, ATM.

13 Ships Arrive Lagos Ports With Petroleum Products

Thirteen ships laden with petrol, base oil, bulk gas and aviation fuel have arrived and waiting to berth in Lagos ports.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication `’Shipping Position’ – made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.

The document indicated that 28 ships were expected to arrive the ports from Jan. 6 to Jan. 21.

Sophia, through her lawyers has requested the original copy of the alleged medical report that Davido published 48 hours ago from Clina Lancet laboratory.

Anenih writes EFCC on how he shared N260m, says he was acting on instruction

Former Chairman of PDP's Board Of Trustees, Tony Anenih has written a letter to the EFCC explaining how he got and shared N260 million from embattled former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki. According to the Nation, Anenih in his letter stated that he received the money from Dasuki's office and shared it as instructed but never benefited from it.

A source at EFCC stated that Anenih in the letter said of the N260 million he received, he gave N63 million to a group coordinated by a former Special Assistant to former President Shehu Shagari, Tanko Yakassai, for the 2015 presidential election.

I read with amusement the allegation that was made in saharareporters, the unofficial media wing of the Buhari administration, the SSS and the EFCC,, that I was given 1.7 billion naira cash by President Goodluck Jonathan. This is false. A few hours later they changed their story and said that I received 1.7 billion naira from the office of the former NSA, Colonel Sambo Dasuki. This is also false. I have never received one kobo from President Jonathan himself, Colonel Dasuki or any other member of President Jonathan's government.

I have not ever been in receipt of any public funds and neither was I the beneficiary of any payments in cash, transfer, cheque or otherwise from any government official during the tenure of President Jonathan.

German husband drowns himself in a lake with wife's HEAD encased in a concrete block .

A German pensioner strangled his wife, dismembered her body and drowned himself in a lake in Austria by tying himself to a concrete block with her severed head encased inside. 

The pair were later identified as a couple in their 70s, from Frankfurt, west Germany, Austrian authorities said. 

The husband was discovered two days after police found two suitcases containing the woman's dismembered body near the shore of Lake Traunsee, central Austria.

Lagos State Government yesterday shut Owonifari market within the notorious loop of Oshodi, Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, aimed at addressing the security challenges in the axis.It will be recalled that the State Government often arrest hoodlums in Oshodi to stern the activities of petty thieves who often deprive commuters of their property.

Alleged N300m fraud: EFCC docks ex-PDP boss, Bello, son

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday, docked former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Haliru Bello, before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Bello, a one-time Minister of Defence, was arraigned alongside his son, Abba, on a four-count criminal charge bordering on alleged N300 million fraud.

Whereas Bello’s son was charged as the first accused person, a firm, BAM Projects and Properties Limited, which the EFCC said was used to perpetuate the fraud, was cited as the 2nd accused person in the matter.
